We are seeking the Senior Escrow Assistant provides high-level support to Escrow Officers, managing complex real estate transactions from opening to closing.

We are seeking the Senior Escrow Assistant provides high-level support to Escrow Officers, managing complex real estate transactions from opening to closing.
Primary Responsibilities
- Reviews with Escrow Officer real estate contract and addendums and open orders.
- Deposits and provides earnest money receipts to customer(s) and enters applicable information into the escrow production system within 24 hours.
- Maintain a strong understanding of contracts, title commitments, escrow instructions, and transaction documentation.
- Prepares, collects and documents the necessary items, to include, but not limited to; Opening Instructions, loan payoff(s) and other demands for payment, real property taxes and assessments, water/sewer billing, homeowner's association status, FIRPTA/HARPTA, other lien(s) affecting title, conveyancing or other document preparation, documenting 1099s, correspondence and other items.
- Entering all collected data into the escrow production system.
- Prepare and sends signing packages.
- Schedules closing and maintains/updates calendar for Escrow Officer and team.
- Prepares, provides and ensures that funding conditions are satisfied prior to closing.
- Schedule signings with escrow officer and/or mobile notaries.
- Prepares and ensures that recording packages are submitted with minimal errors.
- Maintains professional relationship with customers both internal and external.
- Provide constant communication with appropriate parties, clients, vendors, customers, Escrow Officer and escrow team on the status of the transaction throughout the closing process.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
- Must be a TEAM PLAYER - May be needed to assist other escrow officer, assistants, or teams to maintain even workflow; including front desk coverage.
- Communicates with Supervisor and co-workers on work load
- Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Identify areas for improvement.
- Able to keep closing information confidential.
- 4 plus years of escrow assistant experience or 5 years of work in a related real estate or title field.
- Able to follow all company procedures and policies including meeting all company customer service expectations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). SoftPro experience a plus.
- High school diploma or Equivalent.
- College Degree or Equivalent work experience preferred.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
