Scope Of Work
- Accurately estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing related metrics.
- Manage relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Provide accurate and detailed reporting and documentation.
- Direct line of report to Executive Vice President.
- Provide detailed cost estimation including preparation of comprehensive estimate and project analysis for use by various team members.
- Compile bids and comparison of bids to ensure alignment with project needs and competitiveness within the market.
- Compare and accurately track project costs to estimate, identify overages and create strategies with stakeholders to mitigate overruns.
- Identify and implement strategies which mitigate risk and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure understanding of project scope and grow and maintain effective customer relations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure proper project handoff.
- Bring sale to fruition by offering value engineering options, overcome sales objections and timely proposal follow-up.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records related to all projects.
- Provide continuous improvement ideas.
- Stay relevant and connected with industry trends, regulations and current pricing.
- Other duties as required by leadership.
- Ability to remain calm in times of heightened emotional situations.
- Ability to lift no more than 30lbs for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk potential job sites which may include rough terrain.
- Ability to work scheduled hours.
- Possess good vision/hearing (normal or corrected).
- Preferred Certified Professional Estimator, BA in construction science or 6 years of related equivalent electrical experience.
- Exceptional math skills with an analytical mindset.
- Extensive knowledge of research and data analysis methods including estimation formulas.
- Ability to maintain a driving record which aligns with company insurance standards.
- Ability to organize tasks to meet demanding delivery deadlines.
- Computer literate and high-level interpersonal skills.
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
