We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Escrow Funder to join our Conroe team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing escrow funds related to real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review closing files for accuracy and completeness prior to funding
- Initiate and release wires and checks in accordance with company procedures
- Verify lender funding conditions and authorization to fund
- Coordinate with escrow officers, processors and lenders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and TDI guidelines
- Resolve funding issues quickly and communicate delays proactively
- Maintain detailed records of all escrow transactions, including fund disbursements, receipts, and related documentation.
- Perform basic math calculations accurately using 10-key typing skills to verify fund amounts.
- Assist with processing tasks as needed, including reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Minimum 2 years of escrow funding experience preferred
- Strong understanding of Texas escrow and title processes
- Experience with title software (Qualia experience a plus)
- High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
- Excellent math skills with proficiency in basic calculations and 10-key typing accuracy.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Attention to detail with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
