Electrical Estimator

This role is responsible for developing precise project cost projections, evaluating technical specifications, and supporting the bidding process for electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure all estimates are both competitive and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for electrical projects based on drawings, specifications, and scope requirements
• Analyze project documentation to identify labor, materials, and time requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to validate assumptions and pricing
• Review blueprints and technical documents to ensure accurate interpretation of project needs
• Assist in the development of budgets and support bid submissions with detailed cost breakdowns
• Monitor market trends and pricing to maintain competitive and realistic estimates
• Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and project data
  
  

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of Electrical Estimating Experience
• Demonstrated experience in electrical cost estimating and budget development
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and industry standards
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications with accuracy
• Solid analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team environment
• Experience with estimating software or digital takeoff tools is advantageous
• Background in electrical contracting, construction, or a related field
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline preferred
