Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture: Design scalable, secure, and robust EDI solutions using Dell Boomi AtomSphere, ensuring adherence to both industry and organizational standards.
- Requirements Gathering: Engage with business analysts, subject matter experts, and trading partners to collect and analyze business and technical requirements for EDI integrations.
- End-to-End Integration: Lead the implementation of EDI integrations, including mapping, transformation, and orchestration of data flows between various systems and partners.
- EDI Standards & Protocols: Ensure EDI solutions conform to relevant standards such as X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, and protocols including AS2, VAN, SFTP, and FTP.
- Technical Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert on Boomi EDI, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical support to integration developers and support teams.
- Process Documentation: Document architecture designs, data flows, configurations, and best practices to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Oversee and participate in the testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of EDI integrations, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
- Design, develop, and maintain EDI integrations on Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform.
- Develop and support EDI maps and processes for common transactions (e.g., 850, 810, 856, 837, 997, and others).
- Monitor and troubleshoot EDI message flows, resolving errors and communication issues in a timely manner.
- Liaise with trading partners and internal business teams to configure and test integrations.
- Document system configurations, partner profiles, and integration flows for auditing and future reference.
- Review and update existing EDI solutions in response to new business requirements, trading partner needs, or technology advancements.
- Participate in disaster recovery exercises and ensure business continuity planning for critical integrations.
- Implementing error handling frameworks and monitoring solutions to proactively manage EDI transaction integrity.
