This role is responsible for writing accurate, defensible Xactimate estimates for completed mitigation projects and actively driving them through approval. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and motivated to keep files moving.

This role is responsible for writing accurate, defensible Xactimate estimates for completed mitigation projects and actively driving them through approval. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and motivated to keep files moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Managers to close documentation gaps before submission
- Develop comprehensive mitigation estimates in Xactimate based on field documentation, photos, and project scopes, ensuring all completed work, and third-party vendor costs are properly captured.
- Submit estimates to adjusters and clients within company timelines and proactively follow up to move files toward completion.
- Confidently navigate scope discussions and advocate for accurate, defensible pricing.
- Track revisions, supplements etc. to ensure a timely settlement.
- Maintain organized digital documentation across multiple software platforms and systems.
- Strong proficiency in Xactimate (required).
- Proven experience in estimating in the disaster restoration industry.
- Strong communication skills and comfort negotiating scope.
- Ability to manage multiple active files while maintaining accuracy.
- High personal standard for detail, completeness, and follow-through.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
