Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Procore construction management software to coordinate all phases of construction.
• Oversee procurement, budgeting, and cost control activities utilizing HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools to ensure projects stay within financial targets.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide construction activities.
• Manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure scope compliance and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with project teams to prepare and update project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed for timely delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and adherence to design specifications.
• Supervise on-site personnel including subcontractors and labor teams; provide guidance on technical issues such as blueprint reading and schematics.
• Utilize construction site experience combined with management expertise to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including daily reports, incident logs, change orders, and progress updates.
• Implement quality assurance procedures to uphold safety standards and ensure project specifications are met consistently.
• Oversee the use of construction management software for scheduling, reporting, and communication across teams.
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes safety awareness, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  
  

Skills

• Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Extensive knowledge of heavy civil or industrial pipeline projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of contracts negotiation and administration processes.
• Skilled in project scheduling techniques with Primavera P6 or equivalent programs.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices for construction site safety management.
• Experience with budgeting, cost estimating using HeavyBid or comparable software, and financial oversight of projects.
• Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with Ohmmeter use is a plus for technical troubleshooting.
• Excellent management skills with a track record of supervising diverse teams effectively.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of construction site logistics including safety protocols, quality control measures, and environmental considerations.
