Our Client is a well-established construction company performing both residential and commercial projects. They are seeking a qualified Construction Project Manager / Estimator with a strong residential construction background to perform estimating and project management duties.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage insurance restoration projects from lead generation through project completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
Prepare accurate construction cost estimates using industry-standard software, including Xactimate.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong time management and organizational standards.
Utilize Microsoft Office and related software to prepare reports, communicate project updates, and analyze project data.
Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout all phases of construction.
Collaborate with team members and assist with cross-training initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Complete knowledge of all phases of construction and current building codes.
Experience in construction estimating; Xactimate experience is highly preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
Proficiency in reading construction scopes, blueprints, schedules, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, scheduling, and time management abilities.
Positive attitude with a willingness to take on challenges and new initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Xactimate software experience is mandatory

- 3 years of construction estimating experience
