Our Client is a well-established construction company performing both residential and commercial projects. They are seeking a qualified Construction Project Manager / Estimator with a strong residential construction background to perform estimating and project management duties.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage insurance restoration projects from lead generation through project completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Prepare accurate construction cost estimates using industry-standard software, including Xactimate.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong time management and organizational standards.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and related software to prepare reports, communicate project updates, and analyze project data.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout all phases of construction.
- Collaborate with team members and assist with cross-training initiatives as needed.
- Complete knowledge of all phases of construction and current building codes.
- Experience in construction estimating; Xactimate experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
- Proficiency in reading construction scopes, blueprints, schedules, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and time management abilities.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to take on challenges and new initiatives.
- Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL)
- 3 years of construction estimating experience
- 5 years of construction experience
- 3 years of construction project management experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Competitive salary based on experience
