Commercial Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction management, project coordination, and a strong understanding of construction estimating. This role requires proficiency in various construction management software, including ProCore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project. The Commercial Project Manager will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties

• Lead the planning and implementation of project tasks while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Microsoft Project for effective project scheduling and tracking.
• Review blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Manage contracts and negotiate terms with vendors and subcontractors as necessary.
• Oversee on-site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed while maintaining quality control.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
• Prepare regular reports on project status for stakeholders, highlighting achievements and addressing challenges.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial project management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Familiarity with project scheduling techniques using Microsoft Project or similar software.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for blueprint reading and contract analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
