Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machine centers.
- Load tools, fixtures, and raw materials for production runs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Make minor program edits or adjustments as needed (programming is a plus).
- Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow shop procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Experience as a CNC machinist/operator with setup experience.
- Hands-on experience with CNC mills and lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- CNC programming experience (G-code, conversational, or CAM).
- Experience machining aluminum and/or stainless steel components.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machine or tooling issues.
- Full-time position in a manufacturing shop environment.
