We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer & Operator to support our growing production team.
Position Summary
The CNC Programmer & Operator plays a key role in our production workflow by converting custom millwork shop drawings into accurate CNC programs and producing ready-to-build components for fabrication. This position works closely with the Shop Manager, Drafting Department, and Fabrication Team to ensure smooth, efficient production.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities
CNC Programming
Convert shop drawings into CNC-ready G-code files
Create cut lists, tool paths, and material optimization
Collaborate with drafting to clarify specifications and resolve discrepancies
CNC Operations
Determine material selection and quantities
Prepare laminate and press lists prior to production
Itemize, separate, and label CNC-machined components
Label and organize dowel boring parts
Mark and separate Edge banding Parts
Equipment
Homag N-300 CNC (5' x 10')
Homag Dowel Boring Machine
Qualifications
Experience with Mosaik software preferred (other software considered based on experience)
CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or similar)
Strong understanding of millwork construction, joinery, and cabinetry methods
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings accurately
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Organized, professional shop environment
Supportive and collaborative team culture
Schedule & Compensation
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Second shift option available (4:00 PM - 8:00 PM) for qualified candidates
