What You'll Do (CNC Machine Operator Role)
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce machined parts in accordance with specifications and quality standards
- Install and adjust chucks, attachments, tools, collets, gears, and cams
- Lift and load stock, set feeds, tooling registers, and offsets, and calculate job requirements
- Verify first-run parts, perform measurements, and ensure quality compliance
- Monitor machining operations such as turning, facing, knurling, and threading; identify malfunctions and make adjustments or reprogram as needed
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- Maintain shift continuity by documenting actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs
- Complete production, quality logs, and required documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Forklift operation experience required
- Mechanical aptitude with prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching tasks in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or machining role preferred (training available for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude)
