Duties
- Lead and supervise ABA therapy programs tailored to children and adults with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Oversee the Trainee Development program, mentoring and guiding Behavior Analyst Trainees through their education, growth, and competencies.
- When needed, conduct client assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake procedures to determine individualized treatment plans.
- Oversee data collection processes to monitor client progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, medical documentation standards, and confidentiality protocols.
- Provide training and ongoing supervision to behavior analysts, therapists, and support staff on best practices in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Facilitate staff meetings, training sessions, and quality assurance reviews to uphold clinical excellence.
- Stay current with advancements in behavioral health, applied behavior analysis, special education, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Promote a positive team environment focused on patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education, Behavioral Health, or a related field; BCBA certification required or eligible for certification.
- Extensive experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Proven expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, data collection methods, and patient assessment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, intake procedures, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining confidentiality in healthcare settings.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising clinical staff or multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
