This position supports attorneys in all phases of case handling in both federal and state courts, with a strong emphasis on calendaring, discovery, client and team communication, and organizational excellence. Key Responsibilities:-
Calendaring and Scheduling: Manage and calendar scheduling orders, deadlines, hearings, and other court dates in federal and state courts. Communicate regularly with court personnel and opposing counsel to confirm schedules, obtain extensions when needed, and resolve procedural matters.
Docket Management: Communicate daily with the trial team and clients to assist in effectively managing a litigation docket of 20-30 active cases. Provide proactive updates, track case progress, and help ensure compliance with all deadlines.
Discovery Support: Draft shells for discovery requests and responses (including interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, etc.). Process inbound discovery productions, create organized discovery indexes, bates-stamp logs, privilege logs, and perform related document management tasks.
Timekeeping and Administration: Maintain accurate daily timekeeping entries in accordance with firm policies. Complete other administrative and paralegal assignments as needed based on evolving case requirements.
Additional Duties: Support trial preparation, organize case files, assist with document review and production, and handle various litigation support tasks to keep cases moving efficiently.

Experience: Demonstrated experience calendaring and managing scheduling orders in federal and state courts, including direct communication with courts and opposing counsel. Prior litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting is strongly preferred.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
