We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will require a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial software.

Duties

• Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as Sage and Quicken.
• Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.
• Support public accounting functions by providing necessary documentation during audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and assist with budgeting processes.
• Stay updated on technical accounting standards and financial concepts to ensure compliance.
  
  

Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software, including Quickbooks, is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis effectively.
• Knowledge of public accounting practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with technical accounting principles and financial concepts.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
