Key Responsibilities
- Review and manage financial transactions related to commercial and residential properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and record keeping.
- Prepare and process lease agreements and related documentation.
- Maintain strong tenant relations, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Generate periodic financial reports for management outlining property performance.
- Assist with audit preparation and collaborate with external auditors as needed.
- Support the preparation and filing of required tax documentation.
- Manage and track the office petty cash fund.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in property management or real estate.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience with lease agreements and tenant relations is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a pet-friendly office environment.
