You will interact with subcontractors during project installation as well as with the client by taking care of their concerns and training the client on their respective system(s). The position also requires you to work alone and on a team depending on the project.

Job Summary
The primary duties are to install and/or manage installation of Siemens Building Automation systems. You will interact with subcontractors during project installation as well as with the client by taking care of their concerns and training the client on their respective system(s). The position also requires you to work alone and on a team depending on the project.
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Installation of building management systems
- Run wiring, install devices and panels, program panels
- Train clients to use the system installed
- Work with general, mechanical, and electrical contractors to coordinate installations
- Check out control systems
- Programming and graphics
- Service calls on BAS systems
- Manage apprentices and/or subcontractors on several projects simultaneously
- Inspect systems
- Be on call for emergencies concerning security systems
- Assist other technicians when necessary
- Drive to job site(s)
- Responsible for inventory on vehicles
- Follow safety standards set by OSHA and company policies
- Perform quality control on proper installation of security systems
- Complete timesheets, inventory used, job packets, and other required paperwork
- High school diploma or GED
- Tridium certification (not required for consideration)
- 3-5 years of work experience in control systems
- Experience in principles of HVAC and electrical systems a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work a flexible work week
- Ability to work occasional evenings and/or weekends
- Ability to work overtime and be on call
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Client-focused and organized
- Strong communication and issue-resolution skills
- Ability to multi-task and occasionally work out of town with overnight stays
- Must be a team player and serve as a backup when teammates are unavailable
- Ability to build and retain strong working relationships
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs
