The Audiologist will work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and diagnostic testing.
- Assess auditory and vestibular function and interpret test results.
- Fit, program, adjust, and troubleshoot hearing aids and related devices.
- Develop and implement auditory rehabilitation and treatment plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding hearing loss and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure compliance with applicable clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.).
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certification through ASHA and/or the American Board of Audiology preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and assessment skills related to hearing and balance disorders.
- Experience with hearing aid technology, programming, and patient management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of audiology best practices, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Previous clinical audiology experience.
- Experience working within an ENT, otolaryngology, or multidisciplinary medical setting.
- Familiarity with hearing conservation, vestibular assessment, and auditory rehabilitation programs.
