Attorney - General Liability/Construction Defect

Position: Associate Attorney - General Liability/Construction Defect. Location: Any of the firm's four California offices (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Irvine, Walnut Creek)

Work Type: Hybrid (2 days per week in office) Salary Range: $145,000 - $180,000

Position Overview

A top-tier litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in General Liability/Construction Defect Defense. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative environment recognized nationally for its supportive workplace culture and associate development.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of litigation including pleadings, motions, discovery, and court appearances.
• Represent clients in general liability and construction defect matters.
• Develop litigation strategies and manage case progress.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with partners and team members.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• 3-6 years of experience in defense litigation with a focus on general liability and/or construction defect.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently and meet the 1900 annual billable hour requirement.
