The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law, with significant experience appearing before the Executive Office of Immigration Review and Immigration Court. Key Responsibilities
- Regularly appear in Immigration Court for master calendar and individual hearings, both in person and via WebEx
- Prepare, review, and file applications with Immigration Court and USCIS
- Conduct legal research and interpret current and anticipated immigration laws and regulations
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on immigration matters before USCIS and the Executive Office of Immigration Review
- Review scheduling orders and decisions with clients and advise on next steps
- Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication with clients
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state
- Minimum of 4 years of litigation or immigration law experience
- Strong legal writing, research, and organizational skills
- Excellent academic credentials (top 10-15% of class or GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Bilingual skills are a plus
