Associate Attorney

We've partnered with a well-established Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm in Clifton, NJ that is actively looking to add an experienced Litigation Attorney to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys practising law and managing cases rather than spending time developing a personal book of business. The firm has an established marketing and intake platform that consistently generates high-quality new matters, allowing attorneys to focus on litigation, client advocacy, and achieving successful case outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Manage Plaintiff Personal Injury matters from inception through resolution.
• Handle depositions, discovery, motion practice, mediations, negotiations, and client communications.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents.
• Develop case strategy and work closely with experienced paralegals and the broader litigation team.
• Represent clients throughout the litigation process and prepare matters for trial where necessary.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Bar admission is required.
• Minimum 5-7 years of Civil Litigation experience.
• Plaintiff Personal Injury experience is strongly preferred; however, experienced Civil Litigation attorneys looking to transition into Plaintiff PI are encouraged to apply.
• Strong experience with depositions, motion practice, discovery, negotiations, and client management.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• $125,000 - $150,000 Base Salary (depending on experience).
• Significant performance-based earning potential through successful case resolutions.
• No requirement to generate or maintain a personal book of business.
