Tax Preparer

We are seeking an experienced Income Tax Preparer to join our team in Harford County, MD. We have full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities available for professionals who are knowledgeable in individual income tax preparation and committed to delivering accurate, high-quality service to clients.

• Prepare and file accurate individual federal and state income tax returns (Form 1040).

• Review client financial documents, including W-2s, 1099s, and other tax-related records.

• Interview clients to gather information and identify eligible deductions and credits.

• Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

• Answer client questions and provide exceptional customer service throughout the tax preparation process.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personal information.

• Stay informed of tax law updates and apply changes appropriately.

• Maintain accurate documentation and client records.

• Previous experience preparing Form 1040 individual income tax returns.

• Strong understanding of federal and state individual income tax regulations.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple client engagements.

• Basic computer proficiency and experience with tax preparation software.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
