Our client, a leading provider of value-added feed ingredients, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth and manage key customer relationships across the Western U.S. This role is responsible for overseeing sales activities, optimizing pricing strategies, and ensuring strong customer engagement within the dairy, beef, poultry, and feed manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a regional portfolio of feed ingredient customers, including direct engagement with producers and feed manufacturers

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue, margin, and market share

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts across dairy, beef, poultry, and other livestock segments

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms aligned with market conditions and company objectives

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure supply-demand alignment

  • Oversee accounts receivable and support timely collections

  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the regional customer base

  • Maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics, including commodity pricing and competitive feed products

  • Travel up to 50% within the assigned region to support customer engagement and business development

Qualifications

  • Location:

    • This is a remote position based in California's San Joaquin Valley. Candidates must reside within the region to effectively support the assigned territory. Key markets include Fresno, Bakersfield, Modesto, Stockton, Visalia, and surrounding areas.

  • Proven experience in feed or feed ingredient sales, preferably within dairy and/or beef markets

  • Strong understanding of livestock nutrition and feed commodity economics

  • Established relationships within the regional agriculture and feed industry are preferred

  • Demonstrated success in negotiating pricing and managing customer accounts

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate market trends and drive profitable decisions

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented with an entrepreneurial approach

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
