About the JobPrivate Wealth Advisor (Lutherville Office)We are seeking a Private Wealth Advisor for our Lutherville, MD office. The Private Wealth Advisor is an important position within the firm. This position will work closely with our leadership team on investment evaluation, portfolio management, presentation creation, marketing, and client service. This position can lead to significant upward mobility within the firm and a rewarding career.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Experience working closely with and assisting lead wealth advisors in evaluating and reviewing client portfolios including implementation, rebalancing, reinvestment of investment proceeds, loss harvesting, cash activity, and trade executionExperience preparing and presenting client materialsSignificant Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation creation capabilitiesRelevant experience assisting lead wealth advisors with client prospecting and new business activitiesGrowth opportunity to be the primary wealth advisor on selected clients in the first year while assisting our team with other clientsStrong communication skills with internal and external audiencesSound understanding of public markets investing philosophyGood knowledge of alternatives investing philosophyGood knowledge of financial planning ideas and best practicesQualifications include being a registered Investment Adviser Representative (IAR), which include either holding the designation of CFA, CFP, or CPA/PFS or passing the Series 65 or 66 examsRequired Background:Candidates for this role will have a history of high achievement in exceeding goals and outperforming peers. The ideal candidate has 5 plus years of experience and will have passed the CFP exam.Other Required Qualifications:The ideal candidate will bring to the role financial advisor experience, financial knowledge, a collaborative team mindset, and a proven work ethic.
