Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Albuquerque, NM.

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting heavy machinery and equipment to keep them in optimal operating condition. Your day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing necessary repairs, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

CAT & Komatsu equipment experience needed. Pay and benefits based on experience/ability- Call to discuss options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy machinery

• High attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Certification or formal training in heavy equipment mechanics is a plus

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
