CNC Machinist

Our Client is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support precision manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC turning and milling machines to produce high-quality metal components in accordance with detailed specifications. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform setup, programming adjustments, and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines for a variety of metal parts.Work from technical drawings, blueprints, and written instructions to complete machining assignments accurately.Secure materials, fixtures, tools, and attachments to ensure safe and accurate machining operations.Monitor and verify that machined parts meet dimensional and quality requirements through the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and gauges.Maintain continuous part quality by checking lubrication, coolant levels, and proper machine function.Conduct in-process inspections and maintain documentation to ensure traceability of production activities.Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and keeping equipment in proper working order.Minimum RequirementsMust be legally permitted to work with ITAR-regulated materials (U.S. Person as defined by U.S. Government).High school diploma or GED equivalent required.Minimum of 1 years as a CNC Machinist (Ideally 3-5 Years)Preferred Qualifications and SkillsCompletion of a Precision Manufacturing Certificate or equivalent training is a plus.Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical instructions.Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.Knowledge of standard shop practices, company policies, and quality assurance procedures.Familiarity with G & M code programming.Demonstrated ability to measure dimensions using shop measurement tools and gauges to tight tolerances.Company DescriptionW3Global was established in 2006 in Fremont, CA with a vision: simplify the recruiting process and develop an industry-disrupting platform to connect candidates with clients.
