ABOUT THIS AUTO REPAIR PLANNER - COLLISION REPAIR ESTIMATOR ROLE
You'll enjoy a work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to immerse yourself in a fulfilling 4-day work week.
On a typical day, you dive into writing detailed repair plans during disassembly, meticulously researching and adhering to OEM repair procedures. You identify any structural, mechanical, or safety-related damage and ensure that your repair plans cover all required parts, safety systems, calibrations, and diagnostic procedures. Collaboration is key as you work alongside technicians and parts personnel to minimize delays, while reviewing vehicle damage helps improve repair accuracy and cycle time. You effectively communicate with insurance partners and your team members, playing an integral role in maintaining a smooth shop workflow and high repair quality, all while supporting safe repairs that meet manufacturer standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN AUTO REPAIR PLANNER - COLLISION REPAIR ESTIMATOR
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong understanding of vehicle construction and repair processes
- A willingness to complete ongoing training and certification programs
- Strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and follow OEM repair procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Collision estimating or repair planning experience
- Knowledge of modern vehicle technology, ADAS systems, and calibrations
- Experience with CCC ONE or estimating software
