W.E. Beaty is a family-owned turnkey residential foundation contractor serving builders throughout Central Indiana. Our team provides complete foundation solutions, including footings, foundation walls, slabs, driveways, patios, sidewalks, and other residential concrete services.
W.E. Beaty, Inc. is hiring an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our residential slabs and driveways crew. We are looking for a dependable individual with experience finishing residential concrete who is committed to producing quality work and working safely.
A For-Hire Endorsement and DOT Medical Certificate is required or the successful candidate must be willing to obtain one after hire.
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive company trucks transporting crew members, tools, and equipment to multiple residential job sites each day.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Keep assigned truck clean and organized.
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
- Finish freshly poured concrete for residential slabs and driveways.
- Edge, broom, and texture concrete surfaces to company standards.
- Assist with placing, screeding, and finishing concrete.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Work closely with the foreman to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.
- Communicate effectively in English with supervisors and crew members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Must be able to obtain an Indiana For-Hire Endorsement (company will assist if needed).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate (company paid).
- Experience finishing residential slabs and driveways
- Ability to use hand and power finishing tools.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Dependable, hardworking, and safety-focused.
Pay rate is based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour
