Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Pipelayer/Laborer to join our organization. The Pipelayer/Laborer will primarily be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of storm sewers and everything above. This position involves working as part of a crew under the supervision of a Foreman to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Cut pipe, install sewer pipe fittings, and perform basic plumbing tasks
- General construction labor duties
- Adhere to all OSHA protocols and company safety guidelines
- Monitor trench hazards, manage crisis situations, and support crew communication.
- Perform all other general labor construction duties as required by the Foreman.
Qualifications:
- EXPERIENCE in construction required.
- Knowledge of utility installation standards and general construction site practices.
- Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to reliably pass drug screening
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- CDL (preferred but not required)
- General heavy equipment operating knowledge and experience (preferred but not required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
