VSS Logistics is recruiting a motivated, detail-oriented individual to support closing out a warehouse/contract in Oklahoma City. We are seeking a dependable, qualified entry-level individual for the position of Warehouse Specialist I to assist with this effort.
If you have previous warehouse experience (picking, packing, cycle counting, and bin maintenance), you are the ideal candidate to apply for this short-term position.
THIS IS A SHORT-TERM CONTRACT POSITION: 20-24 WEEK ASSIGNMENT (through March/April)
SHIFT HOURS: 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM MONDAY THRU FRIDAY (paid holidays included)
- Pick material from warehouse locations; assemble kits per List of Material (LOM) with quality/accuracy
- Confirm transactions performed into an inventory system
- Accurately perform required daily cycle counts of warehouse locations; entering the counts into an inventory system
- Assist inventory supervisor/team with shelf-life audits/tasks (First-in, First-out method);
- Pick material and affix proper labeling to packaging;
- Other inventory tasks, as required, to ensure all areas meet daily metrics. These tasks may include assisting in various warehouse areas.
- Perform general bin maintenance
- Other Level 1 warehouse duties, as required
