Position Summary
This position is responsible for the proper weighing of loaded and emptied turkey live haul trailers, as well as maintaining and distributing all related paperwork/reports. The person in this role works independently in the scale house with limited supervision. This job starts at least 15 minutes before CAS starts running and concludes in the afternoon once all necessary reporting has been completed and distributed to Accounting and Plant personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Weighs trailers as they are pulled onto scales
- Keep all necessary numbers and calculations, turn in paperwork in a timely manner
- Complete reports used to calculate USDA paperwork at end of each day.
- Other duties as assigned
- Perform daily scale test to ensure proper weights
- Must know the M-Tech system and be familiar with CAT2
- Must have computer skills (Email, Word, and Excel)

- Must be able to work without close supervision
- Must maintain an excellent attendance record
- Must follow all safety procedures and requirements

Education High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience Prior job-related experience preferred
Computer/Technology Skills
- Must be proficient in the use of computer technologies
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Must have the capability to learn Amino
