Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Support Associate to perform a mix of deburring, light machine operation, material handling, and shipping/receiving. This versatile role ensures machined parts are finished to aerospace standards, moved efficiently through the shop, and delivered accurately to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deburr, hand-finish, bead blast, clean, and prepare parts for inspection and packaging.
- Operate basic shop equipment (e.g., saws, tumblers, drill presses, simple machine cycles).
- Move raw material, WIP, and finished goods using carts or pallet jacks; stage jobs at machines.
- Package, label, and ship parts per requirements; receive and log incoming materials.
- Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to ensure quality.
- Follow travelers, work instructions, and safety procedures while maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
- Experience in machining, deburring, or shipping/receiving preferred (training available).
- Ability to read basic drawings and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to work across multiple functions.
- Able to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods. Forklift experience a plus.
