Status: Part- Time - Non Exempt

Minimum Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
Experience working with school-age children, strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and be responsive to student needs. Strong technology and computer skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reading aloud to K-2nd grade students
- Helping students in all grade levels locate and check in/out books
- Shelving returned items
- Inputting new books into library database
- Laminating and repairing books
- Using library computer operating system to run various reports regarding book loan status to include late notices, class lists etc.
- Planning and organizing the Scholastic Book Fair fundraisers
- Comfortable in supervising a classroom of 20 students of various age levels.
- Flexible part-time schedule
- Library experience is not necessary but a Love of Children and Reading is required!
- Knowledge of elementary/middle grade literature
