Position- DB2 LUW Database Developer/Engineer

Location- Malvern, PA.

Visa- GC

Type- Hybrid

 

Note on Candidate Profile: We are explicitly looking for Engineering skills, not Operations.

The client has rejected several candidates recently because their backgrounds were too heavily focused on standard Database Administration (routine maintenance, support, backups, keeping the lights on).

We need a true engineer who designs, builds, and architects from the ground up.

Core Technical Requirements:

  • DB2 LUW & AWS: Proven, hands-on experience building, developing, and configuring DB2 LUW databases natively within an AWS environment.
  • PureScale: Deep, SME-level understanding of PureScale architecture and infrastructure.
  • Consultative Approach: Must be able to advise the team on AWS native services to optimize their current environment.
  • Bonus: Operational DBA skills are a nice plus, but the core focus must be engineering/development.
