Design, optimize, and maintain database systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Manage and enhance Microsoft SQL Server environments, including indexing, replication, and clustering.
Develop and implement solutions on Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms.
Create and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data efficiently.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare datasets for machine learning and AI applications.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards while handling sensitive information.
Generate detailed reports and extract data to support organizational needs.
Provide documentation and technical support for database-related workflows.
Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and improve database operations.
Requirements
At least 8 years of experience in database administration or engineering roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including administration and optimization.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
Familiarity with healthcare or university data environments.
Expertise in data preparation, cleansing, and transformation for AI and machine learning.
Strong knowledge of data privacy and security practices.
Ability to develop reports and extract data using SQL-based tools.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
