Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued in our establishment. Pay starts at $7.25 per hour (base) plus great tips!
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and food safety practices.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and enhance guest relations.
- Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout service.
- Variety of side work, including but limited to: poritoning, cleaning, stocking.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with food preparation and knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for processing payments.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
