Job Summary

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Your ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service while taking drink orders.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Assist with banquet services as needed, including setting up bars for events.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Stay updated on beverage trends, menu items, and promotions to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or a related hospitality role is preferred.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and various types of beverages is a plus.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system or similar cash register systems is beneficial.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
