Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. This role involves delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guest satisfaction from greeting to farewell. Prior experience in fine dining or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Address guest inquiries promptly, ensuring a positive guest relation experience
- Follow all sanitation, food handling, and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred
- Experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing processes
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities
