eCommerce Order Entry Assistant
Volume Lighting is a small family-owned Lighting Manufacturer located on the North Side of Houston. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated experienced multi-tasker to fill our in office eCommerce Order Entry position. Our company is growing and we need your help!
Job Responsibilities :
Receive, Validate and Prepare Incoming EDI eCommerce Sales Orders in our system and on each online retailer portal.
Manually enter Miscellaneous Sales Orders
Receive and Respond to Customer Emails, Calls or Online Inquiries
Prepare and Print Pick Tickets daily
Provide online retailer portals and other retailers with Order status information including tracking, shipment delays & backorder status
Coordinate with fellow eCommerce team members to resolve product related issues or pricing inquiries
Process Carrier assignments for some online retailers
Work with Accounting on Billing issues
Entry of Replacement Warranty Requests & Return Orders
Ongoing online education Home Depot University, Lowes online training, etc.
Sorting and Filing & Other duties as assigned
Basic Requirements:
High school Diploma Required
Some College Preferred
MUST be Dependable!
Strong Attention to Detail/Accuracy
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Friendly & Professional Demeanor, Great Work Ethic
Previous Customer Service Experience within an Office setting Required
Excellent Organizational, Communication & Writing Skills
Microsoft Office Experience (specifically Outlook and Excel)
Experience with mainstream ERP preferred, AS400 Experience a plus but not required
