Warehouse Associates

Execute day-to-day material handling activities: receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and shipping. Reports to the Warehouse Manager. Directly supports production by ensuring materials are delivered to the line on time and accurately.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments, verify against packing lists, and complete SAP goods receipt transactions
• Put away raw materials and components to correct storage locations
• Pick and stage materials for production work orders based on pick lists
• Deliver materials to line-side locations and process component returns
• Perform cycle counts and support physical inventory events
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and 5S standards
• Flag damaged or non-conforming material to the Warehouse Manager
  
  

Work Experience/Education/Skills Requirements

• 1 year warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Basic computer skills — able to learn SAP transactions with training
• Ability to read pick lists, labels, and simple drawings
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Prior SAP experience (MIGO, MB1B)
• Manufacturing environment experience
• Experience with lot control or FIFO inventory
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly, stand/walk 8 hours, bend, reach, and operate powered industrial trucks.
  
  

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Work is primarily performed in an office environment.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
• Traveling to customer sites and events (traveling up to 25%).
