Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Volt is immediately hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Erie, PA. 
 

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk you will:

• Create inventory tags from purchase orders
• Process Bills of Materials (BOM) for finished parts
• Handle transfer orders and expense purchase orders
• Report discrepancies to buyers and service centers
• Email packing slips to Quality and designated contacts
• Coordinate daily driver schedules for pickups/deliveries
• Organize packing slips from multiple vendors
• Investigate returned materials and decide next steps
• Manage incoming packages and route them properly
• Verify and process A/P emails and RMAs
• Maintain accurate receiving logs and inventory reports
• Handle direct shipments and ensure proper documentation              
   

This is a full-time contract opportunity.1st shift - Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
This job is 95% administrative

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
• Strong administrative skills including email management, documentation and communication
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Proficiency in basic math and inventory systems
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs (office supplies and file boxes)
   

Pay Rate: $22.00- 24.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
