What are the responsibilities and job description for the Election Setup / General Labor position at Volt?
Volt is immediately hiring Election Setup Tech/ General Labor for a local leading organization in Albuquerque, NM.
As an Election Setup Tech/ General Labor you will:
- Set up and take down equipment at polling sites (tables, bins, cables, etc.)
- Load, unload, and move supplies and gear
- Run and secure cords safely according to instructions
- Label and organize equipment for each location
- Assist with packing and preparing materials for mailing
- Provide basic on-site support when needed
This is a Temporary, Project role. 4/20 - 6/5 Monday-Saturday 7:00am-Finish
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable using basic tech like computers and printers
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs. independently
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Adaptable and a team player—willing to jump in wherever needed
- Open and flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
MUST have an open and flexible schedule!
In addition we are looking for a Security Receptionist, 5/4 - 6/5. Monday-Saturday 6:30am-7:00pm
- Control building access and front desk operations by checking IDs, allowing entry to approved individuals only, providing parking directions, and ensuring the desk is always staffed.
- Monitor building security by overseeing security systems, conducting regular entrance checks, and reporting suspicious activity or packages.
- Escalate issues appropriately by receiving mail and packages, reporting concerns or questions to management immediately, and contacting emergency services when required.
Both Positions are $17/hr.
