Move forward with Volt!Volt is immediately hiring multiple entry level Mechanical Engineers in San Diego, CA.As a Mechanical Engineer you may be involved with any of the following: Mechanical Systems Engineering: Creation of the Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P schematic illustration of the functional process relationship of piping, instrumentation and system equipment components; train in how to size valves, coolers, motors and piping; creation of parts, updating bills of materials and drawings to support production and customer needs; coordination with purchasing and suppliers to specify custom components and assist in resolution of technical issuesDesign Engineering: Create and maintain the Mechanical and Systems composite product design; dan cover one or more of composite disciplines; electrical, hydro-mechanical, controls manufacturing, software and display, this position is aimed at the maintenance of Mechanical and Hydro-Mechanical product designControls Engineering: Assist in the selection of electrical hardware and placement of components within the control panel layout; creation of assembly drawings, accurate/timely bill of materials and manufacturing floor support for assembly and testing operations; development and improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures, and resolution of technical and manufacturing problems; frequently assists to select and specify components through communication with customers and suppliers alongside Sr Engineers; prepare and release drawings.This is a full-time long term indefinite temp role with strong potential to go temp to hire with upward mobility.Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm plus overtime as needed.The ideal candidate will have:Completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering; preferably Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with the minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher (will validate GPA on transcripts)Excellent communication skills and team collaboration skillsPay Rate: $32.00 Per Hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
