As a Critical Access Medical Billing Specialist you will:Generate revenue by making payment arrangements, collecting accounts and monitoring and pursuing delinquent accountsCollect delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with insurance providers, monitoring payments and following up with insurance companies when payment lapses occurMaintain Medicare bad-debt cost reportSecure outstanding balance payments for care of employeesThis is a full time opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Required Skills & QualificationsProven work experience as a Medical Biller or similar roleSolid understanding of billing software and electronic medical recordsMust have the ability to multitask and manage time effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding problem-solving and organizational abilitiesMeditech Client Server experience required. Experience working directly with insurance companiesRural health clinic billing experienceCritical access hospital experience required.Pay Rate: $26.00- $33.00 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
