Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled, reliable Floor Care Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with experience in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, hardwood cleaning, and a variety of commercial and residential floor-care services. The right candidate will have the technical expertise to deliver high-quality results and the independence to manage jobs with professionalism, efficiency, and care.

Cleaning Technician Job Summary 
Take the lead in  by fulfilling the company's obligations through the timely and effective delivery of cleaning & restoration services.

Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced cleaning and restoration services including:

• Carpet cleaning (HWE, low-moisture, encapsulation, etc.)
• Upholstery cleaning
• Tile and grout cleaning & sealing
• Hardwood cleaning and maintenance
• Additional specialty floor surfaces (LVP, VCT, natural stone, concrete, etc.)
• Operate and maintain professional cleaning equipment, including truckmounts, portables, wands, CRB machines, extractors, scrubbers, and accessories.
• Conduct jobsite assessments to determine proper cleaning methods and products.
• Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision while delivering a high standard of workmanship.
• Communicate professionally with clients about services, expectations, and after-care recommendations.
• Maintain accurate job documentation, including before-and-after photos, notes, and service forms.
• Ensure all work meets company standards, safety requirements, and  practices when applicable.
• Assist with commercial contracts, recurring maintenance programs, and special-project cleaning.
• Represent Voda Cleaning & Restoration with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in professional floor-care services.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemistry, surface compatibility, and proper technique.
• Ability to work independently on residential and commercial jobs.
• Proficiency with truckmount and portable carpet cleaning systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., move equipment, and work in varied environments.
• IICRC certifications (CCT, CCMT, etc.) a plus but not required.
