Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor polishers, and steam cleaners safely and efficiently.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are consistently maintained to the highest standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management to ensure swift resolution.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks during scheduled times or as directed.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and supply inventories to support operational efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates eager to learn.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following detailed instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results consistently.
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling procedures and safety protocols is a plus.
