Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaning Crew Member (High-Access & Outdoor Work) to join our team. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across commercial and industrial facilities, including areas that require working at elevated heights and in outdoor conditions. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, physically capable, and committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services in all environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in assigned areas
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Perform high-access cleaning tasks such as dusting elevated surfaces, warehouse fixtures, vents, fans, and structural areas using ladders or lifts
- Safely climb ladders and work at elevated heights while following all safety procedures
- Complete outdoor cleaning tasks, including entryways, exterior walkways, and other exposed areas, in varying weather conditions
- Dispose of trash and recyclables according to company policies
- Restock cleaning supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizers
- Operate cleaning tools and equipment safely and correctly
- Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Follow all company cleaning standards, safety protocols, and job-site requirements
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required; training provided
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders as part of regular job duties
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety instructions
- Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 25–40 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
