Exciting opportunity for a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CF) to work with elementary students across multiple school sites in a supportive educational setting near Lancaster, SC. This onsite role spans the full academic year, offering the chance to make a positive impact on approximately 40 students’ communication and learning skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Active ASHA Certificate and South Carolina LLR license
- Possession of a valid South Carolina Educator Certificate
- Experience providing speech therapy services in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Ability to work on-site with elementary school students
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) with appropriate credentials
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy for elementary-aged students, maintaining an active caseload of around 40
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and individualized therapy in accordance with IEPs and school guidelines
- Collaborate closely with other staff, teachers, and families to support overall student achievement
- Maintain detailed session notes, progress tracking, and timely paperwork
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning teams
- Uphold confidentiality, documentation, and ethical guidelines in all interactions
