Remote Speech Language Pathologist in TX

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a contract position providing telespeech services in League City, TX. This role focuses on delivering remote speech therapy to students within the school setting, utilizing telehealth platforms to assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
• Provide therapy sessions via telepractice platforms, ensuring engagement and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student communication development
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards in all services offered

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience delivering speech therapy services in school settings, with telespeech or telepractice experience highly preferred
• Strong understanding of speech and language disorders in pediatric populations
