What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer (C Programming, GPA >= 3.9) position at VOCAL Technologies, Ltd.?
VOCAL Technologies is currently seeking individuals who are creative, self-motivated, and who demonstrate analytic ability, practicality, and quality work. Ideal candidates are individuals with an understanding of network communications protocols, software test engineering, and/or tool design. This individual will be part of a team to develop solutions for the telecommunications industry.
Candidates with little work experience but high GPA are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Working with customers to provide a solution that meets and exceeds their needs.
- Designing and implementing software solutions to telecommunications problems.
- Maintaining and improving existing software solutions.
- Code and test software modules of significant size and complexity.
- Create software tools to aid in code building and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 yeas experience with C/C programming.
- Experience with Embedded Systems.
- Experience capturing and debugging network traffic.
- Experience with Real Time Operating Systems.
- Experience with Digital Signal Processing algorithms.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.
- Familiarity with C/C programming languages.
